With 30 years in the business of custom church renovation and design, along with hosting events and public art shows in their completely updated studio, Eikona Studios has been a prominent member of the artsy Cleveland neighborhood of Tremont. Co-owners Nicholas Loya and Christine Uveges created their first works together in 1981 and have since designed and completed commissions in countless churches, public spaces, and museums across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Much of the artwork is created on canvas in the studio and then applied to the walls of churches, halls, and other public spaces. The main crew has a long history with the company while other artists are brought on as projects demand. Eikona Studios has been recognized three times by the Ohio Arts Council for excellence in Design and Traditional Art.
